As a Physician Assistant, she had many successes in managing chronic and acute conditions. Maria continuously learned from her patients about the best approach to address their complex and unique health concerns. Many of her patients with chronic and debilitating conditions disclosed experiencing a significant improvement in their quality of life after Osteopathic Manual treatments. She felt inspired by her patients to learn more about this form of holistic approach and  decided to experience manual osteopathy herself after which she noted a significant improvement in pain and mobility.

She further researched the safety, clinical applications, and efficacy of  Manual Osteopathy. Her research and first-hand experience led her to become an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner allowing her to further contribute to her patient's health journey in finding chronic pain relief and improvement in dysfunctions.
